I wasn't really planning on posting this, but what was supposed to be nothing more than a test turned out a little better than I expected. This photo was shot quite randomly as I was trying out the Tokina 80-200 f/2.8 lens someone had loaned me for the weekend ("Hey honey, look over here for a sec, I need to try something"). It's certainly no razor like the Nikkor 70-200 VR, but I have to admit I'm pretty happy with the results. Focussing from 0 to infinity takes about 2 seconds, so I won't be shooting any sports with it (well, chess might work). It's ok for portraits though, as long as I step it down to about f/3.5.
Oh by the way: ISO 1250 baby! I so love this camera.
