I planted a very small garden this year - more as a challenge to see if I could grow anything. The temperatures in the Dallas area have been topping out over 100 degrees the last several afternoons, but surprisingly the peppers, herbs, squash and tomatoes are thriving. The sun was making its downward descent when I took this photograph - the perspective is from the underside of a squash leaf looking upward to the rainless sky.
